Valve has been working diligently to get more games through their internal systems, and now, they have officially hit over 9,000 Verified or Playable games!
This is confirmed via SteamDB where a search for Steam Deck Verified and Playable games came out to 9,021 at the time of writing! While you can search on Steam itself, it will show between 8,100-8,600 titles are Verified or Playable since it doesn’t take into account games that have been de-listed. This range could be depending on other Steam preferences in each account. Furthermore, it appears that there are currently 2,706 titles that are currently unsupported on the Steam Deck.
It’s important to note that just because a game is listed as Verified or Playable on Steam Deck, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it will run smoothly on the device. Some games that are Verified may still have technical issues, while some Unsupported games run perfectly fine. These ratings are good starting point, but for more definitive answers on how a game will run on the Deck, it’s recommended to check our reviews or ProtonDB.
