ATLUS’ New RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio is Launching October 11th! New Gameplay Footage

If you’ve been keeping your eyes on ATLUS’ new RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio, then you’ll be thrilled to hear that the game has just received a release date, which is October 11th, 2024. Alongside the release date announcement, ATLUS also showed off some gameplay in a new trailer, as well as a live stream with Studio Zero Director Katsura Hashino, who has previously worked on the Persona series.

The new trailer highlights several key characters that you’ll meet in Metaphor: ReFantazio, along with setting the scene for the game’s storyline to play out, a tournament that will decide who will become the next king over the land after the previous king was assassinated.

Build your bonds and gain allies in order to support your claim to the throne.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is due to launch on Steam on October 11th, 2024. It will have full controller support, there’s no word on the game’s system requirements yet, but hopefully, they’ll be achievable for the Steam Deck to run well.
