Katanaut is an awesome game that packs cosmic horror and fierce combat into a grisly metroidvania package. It launched earlier this month, and while it currently has an Unknown rating on the Steam Deck, the developer Voidmaw is making great progress in getting the game ready for the Verified badge. Last week’s 1.0.11 patch is part of that framework.
Alongside a slew of bug fixes, overhauled collision for dropped items, and better autoaim, the main takeaway of Katanaut’s latest patch is an increased font size in the settings and menus. Previously, the text size was a little small on the Steam Deck, but that was the only real stickler point in an otherwise solid experience.
This is part of their preparation to get the Steam Deck Verified badge, which from reports, sounds like it rightfully deserves.
