FrostBound has just released on Steam, and the roguelike deckbuilder is getting a pretty warm reception so far. That being said, they have confirmed that the Steam Deck is not a supported platform at launch, but it is on their development roadmap to improve the experience on the handheld.

Unfortunately, we’re not really sure when the Steam Deck support will come. There is mention on the launch announcement that they will be adding controller support “in the coming months”, which we imagine will be a big part of supporting the Steam Deck, so we’ll likely see improvements come around sometime in 2026.

You can read the announcement yourself here.

FrostBound is available on Steam for $14.99, although it is currently 10% off due to a launch discount until December 10th.
